Most Champion Motorsport wheels are designed with several models in mind, which is why they're typically available in many different fitments, from the Boxster right on up to the Cayenne. The RG57, in contrast, was specifically designed with the 997 body in mind. Available strictly in 19x9.0 (front) and 19x12 (rear) sizes for narrow and wide-body 997 models, the RG57 is an aggressive full-faced wheel with a few styling cues borrowed from the popular RG5, specifically the classic split 8-spoke design. The aggressive widths and offsets fill the fenders of the 997 perfectly, giving the car a much more aggressive and muscular appearance.
To keep weight to a minimum, each spoke of the RG57 features a unique bevel which removes unnecessary material, and also give the wheel its distinctive sculpted look. Although the bevel certainly helps, the real secret to the RG57's light weight is in the manufacturing process used to make each wheel. Like every wheel in the lineup, the RG57 is sculpted from a single piece of A6061 aerospace grade aluminum, which is heat treated to T6 standards and forged using an 8000 pound press. This process results in a maximum yield strength of 40,000 pounds per square inch, allowing us to use less material in each wheel and, consequently, reduces overall weight of each wheel. The RG57 stands strong at roughly 20.5 pounds (front) and 24 pounds (rear), per wheel, making it one of the lightest full-faced wheels you can buy.
The standard finish on the RG57 is our signature Brilliant Silver, although custom finishes are available upon request.
